Last week, from July 5th to the 11th, the Dollard Amateur Baseball Association (DABA) hosted its 9th annual 9U (Atom) A-B Tournament. 32 teams from across Quebec battled it out to be called the champions of the “A” and “B” divisions.
In the finals, we found the Tetreaultville Titans facing off against the Mercenaires of Mascouche in the “A” division while the Laval-Est Red Sox took on the Soulanges Cougars 2 in the “B” division. Both championship games were wildly exciting with lots of hitting, spectacular defence and lively fans. All 4 teams should be very proud of their performances. In the end, the Tetreaultville Titans took the “A” title with a narrow 7-6 margin while the Soulanges Cougars 2 took the “B” title with a 16-9 victory.
The 10th edition of the Dollard Provincial 9U (Atom) tournament will take place the week of June 20th, 2022.
