We understand that for many parents and players, the summer is time to get away on vacation or to camp. In order to improve our “A” level teams, in 2018 we decided that any player who is going away for more than 2 weeks during the season would be ineligible to play on an “A” team. In order to cater to those who go away during the summer, but still wish to play more baseball, Dollard Baseball has begun entering teams in the Inter-Community Spring Baseball League. Depending on the amount of interest and what the league is capable of offering, there is the possibility of entering ‘A’ and ‘B’ teams from 11U to 18U.
Tryouts for these teams will be open to all Dollard Baseball players, including those who just wish the opportunity to play more baseball. All players who have registered to play in the summer season may also register to tryout for a Spring team. Nobody may register solely for a Spring League team.
Tryouts for the Inter-Community Spring Baseball League teams will take place in mid-April, if cuts are necessary, anyone not making the teams will receive a full refund.
