My child goes to sleep-away camp. If he/she plays baseball, does that mean that my child will miss a lot of games?

The summer league is scheduled to run from the end of May until Mid-August. Players who are away for more than 2 weeks during that period are not permitted to play on one of our ‘A’ teams. They may however join a Spring League team in addition to their regular ‘B’ team in order to play more games during the portion of the year that they are in town.

I am thinking of becoming a coach. What do I need to do?

We are always searching for new coaches, whether you’ve been doing it for years or if you want to try it out for the first time. All of our coaches must be accredited, meaning that they must attend clinics whereby a certified instructor trains coaches how to teach proper baseball skills and ways to manage a team. Dollard Baseball WILL PAY THE COST OF THE CLINICS! If you are interested in coaching, the coaching application form can be found HERE.

I am thinking of becoming an umpire. What are the qualifications necessary to become an umpire?

All you have to do is be at least 13 years old during the calendar year, know the basics of baseball and sign up! All our umpires will be trained by attending clinics prior to the season. Whether you are an experienced or rookie umpire, there is still a lot for you to learn! Dollard Baseball has provided many useful clinics to help improve the quality of officiating in the league.
