2004 ACHIEVEMENTS

NOTEWORTHY ACHIEVEMENTS
Congratulations to Andrew Yas, Jordan David and Daniel Lasry of the Midget BB Blue Jays, who pitched a combined no hitter with a combined 12 strikeouts on May 25 in a 12-2 win against Mid-Ouest.

Congratulations to Amanda Starr and Brandon Berkovits of the Midget BB Blue Jays, who pitched a combined no hitter with a combined 12 strikeouts on June 4 in a 12-2 win against Pierrefonds.

Congratulations to Brandon Berkovits, Daniel Lasry and Robert Myerson of the Midget BB Blue Jays, who pitched a combined no hitter with a combined 12 strikeouts on July 13 in a 10-0 win against Mid-Ouest.

Congratulations to Nolan Feinberg for the Mosquito BB Blue Jays for being the offensive player of the Montreal-North tournament held from June 28-July 4th, with an average of 0.727.

Congratulations to the Mosquito AA Cardinals for winning the tournament Le Monstre Vert held July 5-11th in Trois-Rivères.

Triple Play: Congratulations to Brandon Berkovits who participated in the Provincial Triple Play competition at the Olympic Stadium on August 28th. He won the Silver medal in Midget category, representating Lac St-Louis. Also congratulations for Jackie Raftery for winning the regionals in the Peewee Girls category and finishing 5th in the Provincial competition.

Congratulations to the following players for making the John Abbott baseball team: Matthew Wahba, Adam Goulet, Tyler Watson and Andrew Yas.

REGIONAL/PROVINCIAL/NATIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS
Gold Medals
Congratulations to the Peewee AA Lac St-Louis All-Star team, the Quebec representatives for the Peewee National Championships held in Summerside, P.E.I. from August 25th – August 29th, for winning the silver medal! They lost to B.C. by a score of 7-6 in the finals. This team won the Quebec Provincial Championships held in St-Eustache from August 5th – August 8th to earn the spot in the National Championships! Members of the Peewee AA Lac St-Louis All-Star team from Dollard include player Ross Olshansky and coaches Robert Litvack and Garrick Ing.

Congratulations to the Atom A Dollard Blue Jays for winning the Provincial Tournament held in Varennes from September 3 – September 6. The team also won the Regional tournament held in Kirkland from August 14 – August 22 to advance to the provincials to represent Lac St-Louis.

Congratulations to the Mosquito A Dollard Blue Jays for winning the Regional tournament held in Dollard from August 14 – August 23. They will represent Lac St-Louis in the Provincial A tournament held in Varennes from September 4 – September 6.

Congratulations to the Junior West Division who won the provincials held in Granby from August 12 – 15. This team included Dollard players Chris Habib, Craig Leebosh and coach Danny Almon.

Silver Medals
Congratulations to the Mosquito AA Lac St-Louis All-Star team for winning the Silver Medal in the Quebec Provincial Championships held in St-Eustache from August 5th – August 8th! Players from DABA on that team includes Aaron Rosenberger, Dustin White, Matthew Litwin and Mitchell Arnott. Coaches include Josh Friedmann, Donald Rosenberger, and Victor Levis.

Congratulations to the Peewee BB Lac St-Louis All-Star team for winning the Silver Medal in the Quebec Provincial Championships held in Gatineau from August 19th – August 22nd! Dollard players on the regional team includes Jackie Raftery.
