Inter-Community Spring Baseball League

We understand that for many parents and players, the summer is time to get away on vacation or to camp. In order to improve our “A” level teams, in 2018 we decided that any player who is going away for more than 2 weeks during the season would be ineligible to play on an “A” team. In order to cater to those who go away during the summer, but still wish to play more baseball, Dollard Baseball has begun entering teams in the Inter-Community Spring Baseball League. This year we are opening registration at all age levels, with the possibility to add ‘A’ and ‘B’ teams from Mosquito to Midget.

For the first time ever, tryouts for these teams will be open to all Dollard Baseball players, including those who just wish the opportunity to play more baseball.. All players who have registered to play in the summer season may also register to tryout for a Spring team. Nobody may register solely for a Spring League team.

Tryouts for the Inter-Community Spring Baseball League teams will take place in mid-April, if cuts are necessary, anyone not making the teams will receive a full refund.

Inter-Community Spring Baseball League teams will play against teams from TMR, Westmount, Hampstead and Côte St-Luc. Teams play a 10 game regular season beginning around May 1st, followed by playoffs. The season ends in Mid-June. There should be very minimal, if any, conflicts between playing on a Spring League team and a Summer League team simultaneously.
