DABA is an organization completely run by volunteers. We are constantly looking for individuals who are interested in helping our youths. Some of our needs are administrators, coaches, assistant coaches, team managers, convenors, and more. If you are interested, please contact us at

.Head Coach
The head coach of a team is responsible for all activities concerning the team he/she is responsible for. These activities include planning and running practices and running in-game affairs. Since the role of a head coach is a big job, each head coach is aided by assistant coaches and a manager. The main duty of the head coach is assuming all on-field responsibilities. The head coaches are guided by Dollard Amateur Baseball Association. All Head Coaches must have at least a Level 1 Theory certification.
Assistant Coach
Assistant coaches aid the head coach in running practices and aiding in in-game activities. Note that all Assistant Coaches must either have a Theory or Technical Level 1 certification or have completed a Stage Adapté.
Team Manager
Managers handle all off-field activities, such as making phone calls to parents to inform of changes in scheduling, submission of scores to the league, handling finances of the team, and can act as an administrative representative to the league. As an example, the finances of the team may include the collection of money in the beginning of the season to pay the photographer when he comes to take the team photos. A parent of one of the players is a good person to assume this role.
Phone Committee
From time-to-time, players must be informed of the latest news or activity change. A phone committee is needed to make phone calls to these players. The committee is needed only a few times during the season.
Sponsorship
The sponsorship committee helps fundraise special activities for our youths.

The volunteers we need doesn't stop here. If you think you can provide other assistance to us, such as setting up the end of the year party, or any other activities, please help us out! As long as you are willing to help, we can find something for you that fits your time constraints!
