DABA offers a year round program for all baseball enthusiasts. We offer four types of programs:

Our Summer Season offerings incorporate several levels designed to match the needs and abilities of all players. DABA coaches apply a Technical Plan that has been designed by the Program Development Committee and endorsed by a Baseball Canada Master Trainer. This ensures that children are learning the appropriate physical, technical, tactical and mental skills needed for them to succeed at the level at which they are playing.
INITIATION PROGRAM (AGES 4 - 7)
For the youngest players, we offer an Initiation Program (Rally Cap). At this level, coaches and assistants interact closely with the players, who begin hitting off a "Tee". After several weeks, we begin "Coach-pitch", which introduces the kids to hitting a thrown ball. While DABA will have facilitators there for the whole season this year, this is a Parent-Tot program and your support is required.
PARTICIPATION LEAGUES (AGES 8 - 17)
At the Participation League level, accredited coaches give players of all abilities the opportunity both to learn and to play games. There are usually one or two games per week, and at least one practice.
GIRL LEAGUES (AGES 8 - 16)
DABA, along the region of Lac-St-Louis, is initiating GIRLS Baseball. Teams will be made of similar aged girls who will play and learn baseball in an all girls environment. The associations throughout the West Island will also be creating Girls teams, creating a league for these girls to play in. The emphasis will be on teaching the skills of baseball and having FUN in the outdoors.
COMPETITIVE INTER-CITY LEAGUES (AGES 8 - 22)
The Head Coaches of these Intercity teams have received additional training in order to best guide those players with the ability and commitment to meet the challenge of competing at higher levels. Competitive teams usually play at least two games per week and hold one or more practice sessions as well. The Inter-city program offers teams for high level players which play on a competitive teams against teams from around the Montreal metropolitan and surrounding areas. This league is the highest level of competition available for players.
