Officials - Umpires and Scorekeepers
DABA is in need of new umpires and scorekeepers to officiate its many games.
Umpires gain skills that are invaluable through life. These include: assertiveness, rational decision-making, organization, responsibility, and much more. Anyone 13 years old and above, including adults, is welcome to umpire for DABA. We provide all training and you will be paid for each game between $14 and $39, depending on the level of play. Umpires that show initiative have the opportunity to rise through the ranks and to work games in other cities, provinces, and countries.
Scorekeepers are required at every single baseball game! Scorekeeping is very simple to learn if you have basic baseball knowledge. If not, we offer training programs for those interested.
