PLEASE NOTE THE CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR COACHES & ASSISTANTS:
Participation League
All Head Coaches must have at least an Initiation Coach - Trained certification.
All Assistant Coaches are required to have at least either an Initiation Coach - In Training certification or a Stage Spécialisé.

Intercity/Interregional League
All Head Coaches must have at least Regional Coach - Trained certification.
All "A" Assistant Coaches are required to have Initiation Coach - Trained certification. However, it has always been recommended that Intercity Assistant Coaches take their Regional Coach - Trained certification at the first opportunity.
All "AA" Assistant Coaches are required to have Regional Coach - Trained certification.

Note that applicants may apply if they do not currently have the proper certification listed above, but they MUST obtain their certification before the season starts in order to be confirmed at the post. DABA will pay for all costs for their coaches to obtain the proper certifications needed. Take note that these courses are normally given between January and April.
